Australia, the word means “South Continent”, when the Europeans discovery this continent in the early 17th century, they make a misconception that this is a piece of land through the Antarctic, so the name “Australia”, “Australia” is changed from. Latin “terraaustralis” (the southern land )
Australia is located between the South Pacific and the Indian Ocean, the east is facing the Coral Sea and Tasman Sea of the Pacific Ocean, the west, north and south faces the Indian Ocean and its marginal sea, a long coastline, a vast country, accounting for the vast majority of Oceania, though surrounded by water, desert and semi-desert areas of the country account for 35%.
