Hong Kong Space Museum
Hong Kong Space Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront,opened in October 1980,it is an astronomy museum mainly to promote scientific knowledge of astronomy and space.Space Museum, the unique design of the egg shell has already become a landmark of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Space Museum divided into the east and west wings.the East Wing of egg is the core of the Space Museum, will include Stanley Ho Space Theater, Space Science Exhibition Hall,Omnimax Screening room,multi-making workshop and office; West Wing, there are an astronomical exhibition hall, lecture hall, bookstore and office astronomical.
Stanley Ho Theater fitted with up to 23 meters in diameter hemispherical screen, in addition to the Eastern Hemisphere with the first showing of the Omnimax film equipment and, more importantly,there is the world′s first Space Museum which has a fully automatic control system of Sky Show in it.Every year, the Hong Kong Space Museum produced two multi-media planetarium show and selected foreign outstanding Omnimax shows and play in the Library. Exhibition hall is divided into two main parts: Hall of Space Science on the ground floor and the Hall of Astronomy on first floor.
Hong Kong Space Museum held a number of promotional activities each year: including monthly Star Parade, astronomy wonderful time, interesting experimental classes, astronomy, games, astronomy Lectures, film shows and so on,and Space Museum’s website with rich content, also become a good palce to access data of viewing star,the basis knowledge of astronomical, the latest astronomical information
and teaching resources.

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

On Christmas Eve, Lunar New Year’s Eve open until 5:00 p.m.
Closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays), Lunar New Year’s Day and Year Closed
Traffic:
you can get off at Tsim Sha Tsui Station by subway,walk along (from NO. B2 exit) Cameron Road towards Tsim Sha Tsui to the east for about 10 minutes.
